What does Full-Spectrum mean?
Full-spectrum hemp extracts are the pure oil extracted from hemp that contains all the same compounds found in the original hemp plant. Unlike isolated or synthetic cannabinoids, full-spectrum hemp oil contains a myriad of cannabinoids, as well as many vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, protein, fiber, flavonoids, and terpenes.
Full-spectrum hemp oil contains naturally occurring vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, C, E, and B complex vitamins like riboflavin, thiamine, and niacin. Hemp is also a source of many vitamins that aren't present in most diets, including beta-carotene. Minerals are crucial for a variety of nerve function and metabolic processes. They’re also necessary for bone strength and blood, skin, and hair health. Full-spectrum hemp oil contains the naturally-occurring, accompanying minerals like magnesium, zinc, potassium, calcium, phosphorous, and iron. Hemp is also a source of protein, which builds and repairs tissues and amino acids, including all nine essential amino acids. Essential fatty acids maintain cardiovascular health and especially the heart. The main essential fatty acids, Omega 3 & 6 have an idea titrate at a ratio of approx 3:1. In Western Culture's average diet, that ratio is close to 25:1. Full-spectrum hemp oil offers the two essential fatty acids in the optimal 3:1 ratio for maximum nutritional absorption.
Why are Full-Spectrum Hemp Extracts Important?
The health benefits of full-spectrum hemp go beyond simply CBD. In studies, the array of natural constituents found in full-spectrum extracts have proven to work together in what’s referred to as the “entourage effect,” which is the synergy of nature working as intended. In their natural state, these compounds work harmoniously, magnifying their therapeutic effects. The complex makeup of cannabinoids, essential nutrients, protein, and healthy fats encourage homeostasis and balance in our health.
